Vridha Badri: 1380mtrs above sea level this temple was located at Animath. The first holy place of Badrinath. It is the idol of Badrinath before the beginning of the Kali age. Lord Vishnu remove himself from the temple when the mankind entered the Kali age period. The temple remains open throughout the years.

Yogdhyan Badri: 1920mtrs at Pandukeshwar The temple is named after King Pandu, after they made the victory over Kauravas and hailed towards the journey to attain salvation for feeling guilty of committing the deeds. The temple holds the idol of the Lord in the meditative posture.
